How does the booking process work?
So you've chosen me to take your portraits! that's awesome. First we will choose your photoshoot date and you will pay your deposit and fill out your contract. Then you will fill out a quick questionnaire so I can get to know you. From there we will choose your location and I can make recommendations on outfits (I recommend 3 looks). I'm here to answer any questions during your shoot planning process.
I'm afraid I'll look silly or uncomfortable in my photos
Please leave all the worrying up to me. I am an expert at posing my clients and will walk you through what to do for each and every shot.
How do we choose a location?
Once you've booked your session i'll start searching for your perfect location based off of my online questionnaire. I have so many gorgeous locations to choose from!
What if it rains?
We will be in contact the week leading up to your shoot. If it looks like it may rain or be too overcast the day of your shoot, we will start planning a back up date just in case.
How do I dress for my shoot?
Its important that you choose outfits that reflect your personality. You should also be able to move comfortably in each outfit (for example nothing too short or too tight that you can't move freely). I encourage you to send me photos of each outfit before your shoot so I can give input and start to visualize our shoot. I also have great resources on my website under the clients page.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No but I highly recommend that you do. I order though a high end lab that caters to professionals. You are guaranteed to get a perfect product when you order through me. You can choose to order through another vendor online, but I can not guarantee the quality or color when ordering through someone else.
Who should I bring to my shoot?
I love when parents, grandparents, or guardians accompany you to your shoot but they don't have to. If you are more comfortable bringing your best friend than do it! They're also welcome to jump in a picture or two with you.
How do I get my photos?
Typically photos are delivered within two weeks of your portrait session. They are delivered via a beautiful online gallery where you can download, share, or even order prints. Of course you can contact me directly as well for custom print orders.
